Spain attracts travellers with beaches, islands and historic cities. Before you go, it is useful to know which power plugs, sockets, voltage and frequency are used there.
There, the main plug types C and F are used and the standard supply is 230 V at 50 Hz. You will need a travel adapter because the local plug types differ from those used in your home country. Most modern devices support 100–240 V.
Tip In Spain you mostly find type C and F sockets. Many hotel rooms have limited outlets, so a compact multi-USB charger or a small power strip can be very handy.
